THE COURSE

Bass Lake Golf Course is the perfect setting for a round of golf throughout the year. It is located at an altitude of 1,200, which makes the summers cooler. PRACTICE FACILITY

There are individual and group golf lessons by a PGA member available at the golf course. individual lessons are perfect for players that need specialized instructions and group lessons are great for beginners that need to learn the basics of the game.

PRACTICE FACILITY

Aviara Golf Academy has six instructors that are available to help you improve your game. Each one has been at the club for at least seven years. The training will help students learn about every aspect of playing a round of golf. You can sign up for one day, two day, or three days of golf school.

Patrick Roper is the head golf professional at Aviara. He has been a PGA Professional since 2004 and has been with Aviara since 2000. He will provide simple instructions so you can become more relaxed and get a proper feel for the game. You can get a 30 minute instructions for $60 or an hour for $120.

GOLF CAMPS

The Arroyo Seco Golf Course offers a summer camp for golfers between 7 and 14 years of age. The program teaches children the proper way to play a wonderful game of golf. They will be taught the fundamentals so they can develop the skills that they need to play a great game of golf.

There are different lessons that are taught during the course of the camp. The children will learn about the history of the game, as well as how to stay safe while playing golf. They will be taught how to grip, set-up, the proper posture, and full swings.

Summer camp runs for nine weeks during the summer starting on June 10th. The camp is open Monday – Friday from 8:30AM to 11:30AM. It costs $195.00 per week to join the summer camp. There are three weeks of courses from June 10 – June 28, three weeks from July 8 – July 26, and three weeks from August 5 – August 23.

PRACTICE FACILITY

Arroyo Seco Golf Course has a lot of lessons to help any level of player. There are group lessons and private lessons available. You can also practice your game on the driving range whenever you have some free time available. The lessons address common golf problems including golf slice, correct golf grip, improving putting, learning to chip, and overcoming bunkers.

There are private lessons available for all levels of players. Beginners can learn the basics of the game from the experienced instructors. The instructors will teach the basics including the proper way to hold the golf club and how to set up your shots. Intermediate players can learn consistency and will teach you how to correct your problem areas. Advanced players can learn how to keep consistency in the game under all types of weather conditions.

Group lessons can help you learn the game while getting to know other players. Groups range from six to 12 players. The lessons are one hour long and are offered to beginner and intermediate players.

AMENITIES

A good way to end your day of golf is by visiting the Pro Shop store. You will find the top name-brand merchandise at the shop. You can find balls, shoes, gloves, hats, shirts, towels, and even golf clubs.

If you get tired of playing golf or you just want a break, you can relax and enjoy the snack bar. You can buy coffee to enjoy if you are a morning player, or you can enjoy some beer if you like to play in the evenings.

At Arcadia, you can rent golf clubs or a cart for a small fee. You don’t have to worry about bringing your own golf clubs when you come to visit, or buying clubs if you are a beginner. You can come learn the game before you decide if you want to buy your own clubs for future golf games.

PRACTICE FACILITY

Arcadia Golf Course is the home to the Golf Learning Center, where golfers of any age can learn how to play. There is a PGA-certified “Get Golf Ready” program where beginners can learn the basics of golf.

There are PGA-certified golf instructors that can teach golfers of all ages and levels who want to improve their skills and strategy. You can learn the game with a private lesson or with a group lesson. Each lesson is designed to help golfers reach their goals while improving the basics of the game. You can meet others who enjoy the game by joining a group lesson.

This California golf course has an extensive practice facility where you can perfect every aspect of your game. It has a controlled environment where you can practice your swing at a 28-station driving range or a 15-stall irons-only back range. There are two practice bunkers, two chipping greens, and two putting greens where you can practice before you play a round of golf.

Apple Valley Golf Course has daily dining at a full service Grill Room. There are rooms that can be used for special events such as business meeting and weddings. The main dining room can hold up to 180 guests at one time.

Every event package comes with food and beverage options that can be customized to fit your needs. The staff is good at making continental breakfasts, lunch buffets, and even a five course meal for dinner. You can view the menus online.

EVENTS

Apple Valley Golf Course is perfect for group outings. Groups can range from 12 guests to 212 guests. The staff is accustomed to organizing over 200 golf outings and banquets every year. The staff will help you make turn your dreams into realities for all of your needs.

You can book your golf outings up to 365 days in advance. The outings offer personalized cart signs, tournament scoring, hole in one packages and individual bag service. You need to make a 50% deposit at least 30 days before your event, and the number of players needs to be confirmed ten days before the event. You can cancel your reservations anytime up until 30 days before your event. Food and beverage service must be prepared by Apple Valley Golf Course unless you get pre-approval from the General Manager.

Balls, hats, gloves, visors, and more can all be found in this comprehensive gift shop store. Shoes are also available at the Golf Shop from the brands Nike, Footjoy, and Etonic. Fans of the Apple Mountain Golf Resort itself can pick up Apple Mountain branded gear such as hats, shirts, and jackets. These items can make excellent gifts for those not traveling with you.

PRACTICE FACILITY

For those who want to work a little bit on their game before going onto the course there is an extensive practice facility available at the Apple Mountain Gift resort. The 300+ yard practice range is open daily from 7:30AM through 5:30PM except for Wednesdays when it closes at noon for maintenance. Mats are available on weekdays and turf is available on weekends. There are also putt, pitch, and chip areas available on over 12,000 square feet of practice green. Golfers can practice from the rough, fairway lies, or two bunkers. Practice in these areas are available from 7:30AM to sunset.

A small bucket of range balls is $3.00 for 25, a medium bucket of range balls is $5.00 for 45, and a large bucket of range balls is $8.00 for 80. There is also an individual annual pass for $365.00, a couples annual pass for $465.00, and a family annual pass for $565.00

Apple Mountain Golf Resort also offers profsesional instruction. An hour of instruction is a mere $55, and discounts are available for classes purchased in bulk. Classes are taught by Paul Shorts and his associate Mark Hoshall and a few short video lessons can be seen online.
