THE COURSE

Palm Royale Golf Course is the ultimate short course experience. Designed by renowned architect, Ted Robinson, Palm Royale is an action packed 18 holes that is sure to challenge and amuse you. As with most of Ted Robinson courses, the links at Palm Royale are designed to challenge seasoned golfers as well as accommodate those who are new to the game.

Originally designed by Billy Bell Jr. in 1962 and recently redesigned by Cary Bickler the course at Palm Desert Country Club is one of a kind. It is an old course that was once considered to be run down and fell on extremely hard times. It has since been completely transformed. Since it was built in the 1960s, when land was cheaper, the fairways and bunkers are some of the largest in the area.

This course is nestled between the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains. It offers breath taking views that are hard to come by in Palm Desert. With a variety of tees at each hole, this course is sure to entertain and challenge you, no matter what your handicap is.

The course at Palm Desert Country Club is 6,400 yards to the longest tee and has a par of 72. The rating is a 72.9 and the slope is a 120. The back nine is considered, by many, to be both one of the most challenging and the most beautiful holes in the area.

THE COURSE

When Ojai Country Club was first built in 1923, it was hailed as “a marvel of golfing architecture.” Famed architects George C. Thomas, Jr. and Billy Bell wanted to make a course “…that the average golfer could enjoy his round without too great a penalty, and that a test must be afforded requiring the low-handicap man to play fine golf in order to secure pars.” The course succeeded in both of these things.

Over the years, the course has been played by Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Will Smith, Kevin Costner, Michael Douglas and many other Hollywood stars. It has hosted seven PGA senior events and even been featured on NBC. It is truly one of the gems of Southern California.

After World War Two, the course was redesigned. Two of the original holes that Thomas designed were lost. In 1999, the spa reintroduced these holes, which they refer to as “The Lost Holes.” The holes have been fully restored and brought back within the point of the original layout. This adds an bit of historical excellence to the course.

In a setting as natural as Ojai, it really is only fitting that the resort is home to one of America’s premier Southern California golf resorts and championship golf courses. This 18-hole golf course plays 6,292 yards with a par 70, rating of 71.0 and a slope of 132. The many holes challenge golfers in unique ways with four par 4 holes that span over 400 yards. THE COURSE

Oaks North Golf Course is home to not one, but three 9 hole courses. These three 9 hole courses offer a unique opportunity for golfers to work on their short game. This makes Oaks North Golf Course a great place for those new to the game, those who wish to work on their short game and also to juniors.

The Oaks North Golf Courses are about 3,000 yards to the longest tee and has a par of 36. The rating is a 55.9 and the slope is a 64. Many golfers mix and match to combine two of these courses to create an 18 hole experience.

GREEN FEES

To work on your short game, book your tee time today. Tee times can be booked online, through the website, by phone or in person. Proper golf attire is required.

Pro Shop

The Oaks North Golf Course features a fully stocked pro shop. They carry all of the brand names you love and prices you won’t soon forget. If you are looking for a souvenir of your visit, a gift for the golfer in your life with everything or just a conversation about the course, they have you covered.

The Oaks North Golf Course also offers club fitting services. Using state of the art software, staff with fit your clubs and drivers. This is a free service only when clubs are purchased here.

Restaurants

Golfing can leave you hungry. Thankfully, Oaks North has a fully stocked snack bar. They carry a variety of the typical golf fare including snacks, hot dogs, sandwiches and more. They also carry a variety of beverages to quench your thirst. From soda and coffee to ice cold beer, they have it all.

After your game, if you need to celebrate a great game or commiserate a poor one, share a beer with friends. They have several big screen TVs and a patio that overlooks the course. Often, bird watchers see some fantastic flocks on our patio.

PRACTICE FACILITY

If you want to take a few swings off your handicap, the practice facility is the perfect place for you. They have a newly updated practice facility with a combination of grass and mat practice tees. They also have a short game area that includes putting and chipping greens. They sell buckets of range balls for a nominal cost at the pro shop.

Designed by Tom Fazio, Oak Creek Golf Club offers a full sized championship course designed to challenge golfers of all abilities. Oak Creek Golf Club knows golfing isn’t just something that happens once or twice a year, but year round, that’s why they offer a course that is playable year round.

The Oak Creek Golf Club course is 6,850 yards to the longest tee and has a par of 72. The rating is a 72.9 and the slope is a 127. It provides golfers with the perfect mix of challenge and fun.

If you need to upgrade your equipment, visit the pro shop at Oak Creek Golf Club. The amazing staff will help you find exactly what you need. They carry a wide variety of the brand names you have grown to love at prices you will adore. If you have questions about the course, feel free to ask. They love to give tips on how to play it.

Oak Creek Café

The Oak creek café offers golfers an ideal spot to relax before or after their game of golf. Indoors, they offer a rustic fireplace and peaceful atmosphere. Outside, the patio overlooks the top finishing hole. The food is nothing short of amazing. They are open daily for breakfast and lunch. In the evening, they offer a limited menu of cocktails and hor d’oeuvers. Reservations are suggested but not required.
