THE COURSE

Each set of rental clubs includes a Callaway driver, 3 & 5 fairway woods, 3-hybrid, 4-iron through sand wedge, and an Odyssey putter. Right and left handed clubs are available for both men and women.

ESCENA LOUNGE & GRILL

In 2010, Escena Lounge and Grill was voted the best new restaurant by Palm Springs Life Magazine. They offer daily breakfast, lunch and dinner specials as well as a full bar and appetizer menu. The menu features an eclectic array of creative American dishes with a twist. They strive to source their ingredients from local, organic sources whenever possible.

Even more impressive than the food, however, is the drink menu. The typical selection of domestic and imported beers only scratches the surface. The Escena Lounge and Grill features a long list of hand crafted lagers and artisan ales. This list of undiscovered, limited-barrel production wines is hand selected by a sommelier. You won’t find these on any grocer’s shelf.

THE COURSE

Until 2002, the city of Folsom lacked a golf course. Thankfully, Empire Ranch fixed that problem. The course, designed by Brad Bell, is located at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills. It features a beautiful links-style golf course that offers the perfect balance between challenge and reward. This scenic layout includes a variety of challenging holes that will test your game with marsh land, bunkers and rolling greens.

Empire Ranch is a 6,668 yard, 18 hole course with a par of 71 and a rating of 71. Empire Ranch has several noteworthy holes but the best, they save for last. Their signature hole is the par 3 18th hole, which includes a 211-yard shot over water.

THE COURSE

World class golf architect Cary Bickler designed and built this course. It is located on a magnificent sweep of bluffs that gives the golfer a breath-taking view of the ocean with each and every shot. It boasts five sets of tees and wide open fairways. That, combined with only a few bunkers, allows every golfer to post a low score.

This 6821 yard course has a par of 72, a slope of 127 and a rating of 72.2. The front nine is especially forgiving. The back nine has increasingly high elevation that presents the golfer with new and enjoyable challenges. They are also lucky enough to offer their golfer a chance to experience the course during every season and have never experienced a frost delay.

THE COURSE

This 18 hole championship course was designed by golf legend Arnold Palmer. It is an impeccably maintained course that is designed to tests the skills of future PGA champions. It is part of the Nationwide Tour, an official PGA event.

This 7,034 yard course boasts a par of 72 with a rating of 73.4 and a slope of 133. It features several memorable holes including the third, fourth, seventh, ninth, 10th and 17th. The third is by far the best hole in this course and one of the best short par 4 holes in the area. Overall, this is a challenging course designed with the experienced golfer in mind.

THE COURSE

The courses at El Prado, designed by architects Harry and David Rainville are known as “Butterfield Stage” and “Chino Creek”. These two 18 hole courses, named after the journey taken by first Californians, are championship quality. The names pay homage to the stage coach journey from St. Louis to California.

Both courses boast a par of 72 and feature a wide range of obstacles. Wildlife, such as ducks, eagles and even an occasional coyote can often be seen in the surrounding hills. The course is also easily walked.

Both courses feature four holes with a par of 3, ten par 4 holes and four par 5 holes. Chino Creek spans 6,850 yards. Butterfield Stage is 6,568 yards.

THE COURSE

Ted Robinson may have designed over 160 courses but none are closer to the Long Beach native’s heart than this one. El Dorado park golf course is 6,921 yards and carved out naturally tree-lined landscape. The 18-hole championship course is currently home to the prestigious Long Beach Open. It has also hosted the Queen Mary Open, which is a regular PGA touring event.

This course has a par of 72 and a slope of 126. It is rated at a 70.6. The course has four par 3 holes, 10 par 4 holes and four par 5 holes. It features lovely Kikuyu fairways and Poa Annua greens plus a variety of challenges for the novice and the experienced golfer alike.

Special Events

Whatever your event, El Dorado Park Golf Course can help make your dreams come true. El Dorado Park was named one of Wedding Wire’s best wedding venues of 2012. They also host a variety of corporate events, class reunions and other parties.

The full staff is available to help you get the experience you deserve. Executive chef Ryan McIntyre will help design a menu that is both tasty and affordable. Wedding packages also include a personalized wedding cake, dance floor, champagne toast, china, flatware, stemware, and linens in your choice of color. Other events can be personalized by calling the staff directly.

PRACTICE FACILITY

If you wish to take a few swings off your handicap, El Dorado Park provides extensive practice facilities. These including a driving range plus a practice bunker. There are also two putting greens a brand new, state of the art chipping green. Buckets of balls are available for a nominal cost.

If more instruction is needed, private and group lessons are available. The curriculum is designed and implemented by PGA Professional instructors to help each golfer achieve their goals while improving golf fundamentals. THE COURSE

Gary Roger Baird, of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, designed and built the lovely Eagle Glen Golf Course. This course is 6,930 yards long and has a par of 72. It is rated at a 73.0 and has a slope of 129.

This course is sure to please every golfer. The front nine requires targeted skills and a lot of technical ability. The back nine brings in the natural beauty of the surroundings and natural waterways. Hole 12, thought by many to be one of the toughest par 5 holes in the state, is among the favorites of this course. The course has a total of four par 3 holes, 10 par 4 holes and four par 5 holes.

GREEN FEES

To enjoy the unique challenge of Eagle Glen, book your tee time today. Tee times can be booked online, by phone or in person. Groups of more than 20 need to schedule an event by phone. Proper golf attire is required and sunflower seeds are forbidden. Golfers caught eating sunflower seeds will be asked to leave and not permitted to return.

Discounts are available for replay on the same day. Tee times can be made, with no extra charges, up to 14 days in advance. Tee times booked between 15 and 60 days in advance are subject to a $15 fee per person. Spectators are subject to a $25 ride along fee.

If your equipment is in need of an upgrade, the beautiful and fully stocked pro shop at Eagle Glen is the place to look. They offer a full line of name brand equipment at competitive prices. If they don’t have what you need, they also do special orders.

If you don’t feel like schlepping clubs across the country, or if you want to try out something new, Eagle Glen offers a rental program. The rental clubs are high quality TaylorMade RocketBallz clubs. If you like what you try or you’d just rather buy new ones, they also offer professional club fittings.

Bar and Grille

The culinary team at Eagle Glen has put together a splendid menu of sandwiches, salads and soups along with a full bar. They also offer breakfast daily until one pm. All of this combined with five TVs and a lovely verandah make for a memorable dining experience.

The golf course at Eagle Crest Golf Club recently received a three and a half star rating from Golf Digest. It combines the beauty of San Pasqual Valley and a variety of wildflowers, waterfalls and a total of eight lakes. The challenging design is considered by many to be San Diego’s best kept secret.

Eagle Crest Golf Club is a 6,417 yard course that features a par of 72 and a rating of 73. The course features four par 3 holes, 10 par 4 holes and four par 5 holes. Due to the obstacles and natural features of the land, the holes of this course are considered both memorable and distinct. They utilize a variety of shot making skills that will challenge every golfer.

In preparation for your visit, the website features a virtual tour of the course and a list of policies and rules that must be followed. You can also download a score card, view a list of internet specials and sign up for the mailing list. Membership pricing is also available.

GREEN FEES

Booking a tee time has never been easier than at Eagle Crest Golf Club. They offer convenient online booking with no fees. Tee times can also be booked over the phone or in person.

Prices include cart rental. Driver must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license. Spectators are subject to a $10 charge.

If you work up an appetite on the course, the snack bar will help satiate you. With a full offering of sandwiches, hotdogs and snacks, there is something there for everyone. A snack cart is also available on the course. Beer wine and spirits can be purchased at both locations.
