THE COURSE

Dos Lagos golf course is situated in the midst of the 543 acre multi-use Dos Lagos development. This 18-hole course has a slope of 130 and a par of 70. It has been rated at 71.7 when measured from the farthest tee. It also has a park-like feel and features a view of Cleveland National Forest. The serene feel lends itself well to the relaxation that golfers of all levels experience here. With four sets of tees, this course is comfortably challenging for players of all skill levels. This 6,544 yard course was designed by Matthew E. Dye of the famed Dye family. It features sand traps, water hazards and other obstacles. It also allows golfers to choose the tee appropriate to their level. The blue tees span the entire 6,544 yards while the white tee only utilizes 6,012 yards. Diamond Bar Golf Course, a full length 18-hole championship course, features a long layout with wide fairways and large fast greens. Diamond Valley Golf Club offers golfers and escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. This course was carved out of local land and is kept in a state of beauty by a team of greens keepers. This course is unique in that there are no homes, no roadways and no commercial buildings. It’s just you and the rolling California countryside.

The Diamond Valley Golf course is an 18-hole course with a par of 72 and a rating of 73.6. From the front of the course to the back of the last tee, it spans 6,820 yards and features a slope of 138.

The course contains four par 3 holes, 10 par 4 holes and four par 5 holes. Two of the par 3 holes are played entirely over water with a par 4 also utilizing water at the tee and on the approach. Several other holes have unique obstacles to keep even the most experience golfer entertained.

THE COURSES

Diablo Grande is tucked in the scenic hills of Northern California. It is situated 10 miles off I-5 near Patterson, California. With nearly 15,000 yards, this course features a full 36 holes divided into two 18-hole courses.

The first course is known as the Ranch course. This 7,243 yard course features a par of 72. This includes the signature 12th hole known as “The Mustang.” This 650 yard par 5 hole was almost named California’s first par 6.

This course was designed by the award-winning golf course architect Denis Griffiths and opened in 1996. It incorporates a combination of dramatic elevation changes and the natural contours of the land with the beauty of the surrounding scenic terrain. The Ranch Course at Diablo Grande was recently rated one of the top courses in the nation by Golf Digest.

The second course is the Legends Course. This is also a par 72 course. It spans 7,112 yards. It was co-designed by golf legends Jack Nicklaus and Gene Sarazen and opened in 1998. It has received multiple awards, including sixth place in the best new private golf Course category in Golf Digest.

Unlike many golf courses, the Diablo Grande has a full service, gourmet restaurant. The Sunset Lounge features the cuisine of Chef Kirk Doyle. The combination of food and atmosphere captures the rustic elegance that defines Northern California.

The restaurant serves a full lunch and dinner menu daily. On the weekend, they prepare a full service breakfast. During the week, a grab and go menu of breakfast sandwiches, muffins and other options are available for golfers. David L. Baker Memorial Golf Course is a unique golf course that has a par of 62. The course has six lakes and strategically placed bunkers that make the course a challenge to play. The course is open seven days a week. The hours of operation on Mondays are Sunrise until 9:30 PM and the course is open from Sunrise until 9:00 PM the other days of the week. The driving range closes at 5:30 for maintenance. David L. Baker is a night lit executive course.

David L. Baker Memorial Golf Course has a banquet space for special events from 50 to 300 guests. The newly renovated area has around 3,000 square feet, and it has new carpet, paint, and fixtures. You can have your catering off-site, or the staff at the course can help you prepare a menu that fits your needs. The rates for events are $2,000 Monday-Thursday nights or $2,500 for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday nights.

PRACTICE FACILITY

If you need to improve your game to get to the next level, you can sign up for private lessons or group lessons at David L. Baker Memorial Golf Course. The staff is available any day of the week, so even if you have a busy schedule, you can still take lessons to improve your game. You can book an hour long lesson for $60 or a half an hour lesson at $40. If you need a lot of practice, you can get a discount for a series of four or six days of lessons. Six lessons at an hour long each will cost $300 and a series of four lessons at half an hour each will cost $125.

You can also sign your kids up for lessons. Half an hour lessons are $30 and hour lessons are $45. One and a half hour playing lessons are available for juniors and adults. You will practice on the course individually or in a semi-private group of two to four players. Groups for women are also available.

Seasonal Junior Camps can help your children learn more about the game of golf. Whether they are beginners or have been playing for awhile, they will learn something new in the week-long camps. Half day camps are $199 and full day camps are $329.

PRACTICE FACILITY

There is a large training staff that can help you improve your game, no matter how much you already know. The PGA Professionals can help you learn the game and can help point out your weaknesses and how to improve. You can sign up for private lessons. Private lessons range from $45 for half an hour to $80 for a full hour of practice. You can also sign up for a series of lessons and save some money.

You can also join a group lesson so you can practice while getting to know other people who enjoy the game. You can sign up for five one hour lessons of group practice for $125. Seniors and Juniors can also have their own practice with the professionals as well.
