THE COURSE
Until 2002, the city of Folsom lacked a golf course. Thankfully, Empire Ranch fixed that problem. The course, designed by Brad Bell, is located at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills. It features a beautiful links-style golf course that offers the perfect balance between challenge and reward. This scenic layout includes a variety of challenging holes that will test your game with marsh land, bunkers and rolling greens.
Empire Ranch is a 6,668 yard, 18 hole course with a par of 71 and a rating of 71. Empire Ranch has several noteworthy holes but the best, they save for last. Their signature hole is the par 3 18th hole, which includes a 211-yard shot over water.

Pro Shop
If you need an upgrade, stop in at the pro shop. The pro shop at Empire Ranch carries all of the best brand names. If it is not in stock, they can also special order any gear or apparel you may need. The kind, knowledgeable staff members will help you find whatever you need.
Club repair is another specialty. They offer lengthening, regripping and shortening services. See the website for pricing.
Empire Ranch provides the most comprehensive club fitting program in the Sacramento area. They specialize in Titleist can fit any club, at no cost. Greenside Grill
For a casual dining experience you will never forget, enjoy a meal at the Greenside Grill. It is open from 6 AM to 8 PM. Dining director Victoria Bruss takes pride in the freshly prepared American cuisine offered. The restaurant can also accomidate special events with up to 150 people. PRACTICE FACILITY
The practice facility at Empire Ranch Golf Course is considered by many to be among the best in the area. It offers both full grass and state of the art range mats in the driving range. The putting greens, chipping greens and practice bunkers are also available. This facility is sure to take a few swings off your handicap.
