THE COURSE
Monarch Beach Golf Links is home to one of the most beautiful courses in California. Located among the bluffs of southern California, this picturesque course has the best of both worlds, relaxing vistas and challenging holes. Butterflies are frequently seen as you experience the classic Scottish links with a wisp of fresh sea air.
This course was designed by master architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. The intrigue of this course is that it appeals to players of all abilities. Monarch Beach Golf Links is 6,601 yards to the longest tee and has a par of 71. The rating is a 72.8 and the slope is a 138.

Restaurants
If you are hungry, Monarch Beach Golf Course has several options. The Monarch Café, conveniently located by the first, sixth and 10th tee boxes, offers typical deli-style fare plus more exotic sandwiches like seared ahi tuna. They offer a variety of beverages ranging from soda and coffee to ice cold beer.
Club 19 is an adjacent restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch daily. Several big screen TVs play your favorite teams. You can sample their full bar or enjoy the afternoon on their patio.
The third on site restaurant, known as Stonehill Tavern, offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience. They feature seasonal ingredients and contemporary twists on the classics. Chef Craig Polignano and wine director Rajat Parr make every experience at the Stonehill Tavern a memorable one.
PRACTICE FACILITY
If you want to take a few swings off your handicap, the practice facility is the perfect place for you. A full grass driving range is available to work on the long game. They also have two large putting greens and chipping greens that will help you to improve your short game. Buckets of balls are available, for a nominal cost, from the pro shop. PGA certified instructors are on staff to provide lessons and group instruction.
